1 Park Road is a beautiful, recently refurbished Victorian residence that has been providing first class accommodation for over 100 years. We are perfectly situated in the centre of Windermere village, a mere 5 minute walk to the numerous pubs, restaurants, train station and shops and a fifteen minute stroll to the lake itself.

Our lounge and dining areas feature the original Victorian wooden flooring, cornicing and fireplaces, contemporary furnishings and a splendid collection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau prints, the perfect environment in which to unwind and relax.

Our fully licensed bar is a chilled out affair where you can enjoy a glass of wine, a choice of selected continental beers and for the more adventurous one of Mark's notorious cocktails whilst listening to an eclectic mix of laid-back music from around the world.

All of our spacious high-ceiling rooms can comfortably cater for singles, couples and families up to four. They all enjoy private bathrooms, Colour TV, CD Player and Tea & Coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms have views across the rooftops of Windermere, in the winter the lake can be seen from the top floor. The property also boasts a beautiful original stained glass window on the first floor.
