This 400 year old cottage has derived its name from being
for many years the only dwelling house on the heath and woodland and in
consequence a natural waystation for smugglers. Tucked snuggly between
the New Forest and the sea we offer high quality overnight accommodation
with breakfast, with personal service from the resident proprietors.
