BY ROAD: Leave M6 at Junction 36. Take A590/591 to Windermere. Turn left to Windermere town centre. Drive through village towards Bowness and Lake. St John's Lodge is about 1/2 mile on left after passing modern Catholic Church.

BY TRAIN: Change at Oxenholme (The Lake District) for Windermere. From the station we are a 2 minute taxi ride or a 10 minute leisurely walk.
