| "The Glen" is
situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Kendal under
"The Helm", (local walk and viewpoint of the Cumbrian Mountains, Morecambe
Bay and Kendal), but within a short walk of country pub and restaurant. Being built in 1887, "The Glen" has been extended to give spacious en-suite bathroom to each room, which has tea/coffee facilities, easy chairs and TV. |

Other information: We are easy to reach, being 300 metres from Oxenholme Station and 8 miles from Junction 36 of the M6. All double rooms have en-suite bathroom, with bath and shower over and for that special occasion, ask for our luxury suite, (four poster and en-suite Jacuzzi and spa) only £35 per person per night. There is a large family room with view of "The Helm" and a large ground floor suite with king-size bed. The large cooked breakfast of your choice is served in the restaurant and includes local sausage and free range eggs. Outside on the patio we have a hot tub for guests use. Free use of our DVD library. We are non smoking and accommodate children. We have ample parking and storage for bikes. |
