To confirm your accommodation please advise me of a credit card number, together with the expiry date; this is used to secure the booking, nothing being taken from the account, unless you do not arrive!! Cash or cheque with a guarantee card is preferred but Visa, MasterCard, JCB and American Express are also accepted together with Switch and Delta. I will then fax/e-mail/mail you a confirmation advising you that I have received the Card number.

The cancellation policy is 75% of the rate if cancelled within the last 48 hours.

Other information:

A Victorian building set in mature gardens and a totally "non-smoking" establishment. All rooms are "en-suite", with bath and/or shower, toilet and wash hand basin together with colour/teletext TV, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, oscillating fans, tea/coffee/chocolate facilities, and full central heating.
Other amenities include a guest's ice machine, a reception lounge, an on-line Internet computer for guests use only and a resident's ornamental garden.

The Guest House is located 100 yards from the centre of the small town of Horley, and at right angles to the flight path so there is almost no noise from the airport. In Horley, there are restaurants, public houses, banks, shops, and the main line railway station (300 yds) to London (Victoria 40 mins) and the South Coast (Brighton 45 mins).

I do not provide evening meals but each bedroom has a folder containing a list of 15 local restaurants and pubs all within 10 minute walking distance, together with copies of their menus and a map showing their location. The Lawn is only 5 minutes drive from Gatwick - both North and South Terminals. The cost of a cab is £4.00; I personally transport guests, free of charge, between the hours of 09.00 (before that I am cooking breakfast!!) and 22.00, other work permitting.
