We are located South of Princes Street on the main A701 only 3 miles from the Straiton Junction of the Edinburgh City by-pass. From the railway station either take a taxi which will take about 7 minutes to reach the Guest House or walk up on to Princes Street and outside the department store called C & A there is a bus stop where you can catch a number 3, 30, 31, 69, 80 or 80a bus and get off at the second bus stop on Minto Street. The Guest House is located about 20 yards ahead of you on the left. Only a mile to the High Street from the Guest House and this is where there are many sites of historical interest, including, the Castle, St. Giles Cathedral, John Knox's House and Holyrood Palace. |
